6/25/09 11:39 pmToday I got to hang out with Jen for the first time in a while. We just ate and went to the bookstore but I still had a lot of fun.
( Pictures~ ) I looked for quite a few books that neither store had and Hobby Lobby didn't have any puzzles. *sobs* But I did get to spend some quality time with my woman~~ ♥ I love talking with Jen cause I feel like I can say anything and not feel judged for it (not the case with friends from work/internet (sans Sheyla) who still don't know me very well). I just love hanging out with her even if all we do is talk. It takes a lot of my shoulders. And if I ever say something that you dislike Jen feel free to pop me one kay? You know how I love violent love~ BUT EVEN IF YOU DO CHEAT ON ME, JEN, WE NEED TO HANG OUT MORE KAY? ESPECIALLY WHEN FALL ROLLS AROUND. I hope to try to be more mellow and not rush to leave campus every chance I get. You know, hang around and actually take time to involve myself in something on campus. WE SHOULD JOIN A CLUB!!! Or create one lol. What kind of club would we create?? I'm scared to think. |

5/31/09 06:33 pmSo, we found an adolescent rabbit in our garage this afternoon. After looking the rabbit over closely, I found it's covered in wounds and I don't even know how long it's been in our garage with out food or water. When we first found it, it was doing okay, sitting up, even attempting to eat. Now I very well think it's dying. ;_; It's been laying on it's side for the past hour and when it tries to sit up it can't and proceeds to flail and roll around. If I had known it was as wounded as it was, I would have taken it to the vet right away, but I didn't realize until several hours after we'd caught it and now all the vet places are closed. T_T I really don't think it will make it to tomorrow morning. We put it in a plastic storage container on a heating pad with food and water, but I really don't think it will help. Now we just have to find a place to bury it.

5/22/09 04:46 pm - Something New: The Tea HouseToday we went to a tea house since Kristin and mom have been trying to go for a while now. When we went in it smelled strongly of old people. We got the "tea tray for two" to split between all four of us and it was the perfect size.
( Large pics of food and us being retarded. ) I can now officially say I am not a tea person. :< I tasted all four flavors of tea we had (Earl Grey Cream, Vanilla -Pomegranate, Southern Pecan, and Strawberry Sencha) and I didn't like any of them. And it wasn't the odd flavors, it was more the fact that it tasted like bitter water with a little of flavor thrown in. I'm just... not into tea. And has anybody read/heard anything about the series Gatekeepers by Anthony Horowitz? I found a summary of one of the books randomly and it seems interesting. I wanted to check and see if anyone had read anything from the author to see if he was any good. I guess I should just swing by BAM and skim through the first book to see if I like it. |
5/22/09 12:33 amI've been on a trying new things kick. Went to Lauren's today to hang out with her, Ben, and Kimmy. She and I decided to make dinner since it was that time. First we made brownies (cause you know, dessert comes before dinner) and instead of using oil we used apple sauce since Lauren is all about health. Which, you know, explains the brownies? Never heard of this substitution being possible and I admit I was really skeptical as to how they would taste. They tasted spongy, but still like brownies.
We then had a hard time deciding what was for dinner. While at Publix (I feel like I never leave there) Lauren wanted fish. I don't like fish. So we were just walking around Publix looking at things and trying to find something all of us would like. It didn't go so well since both Ben and I are extremely picky and we gave up on finding anything Kimmy likes along time ago. I decided then that I would eat fish. All my experiences with fish have been bad, but I figured I've never had Tilapia before so why not? We got the fish and then wandered trying to find what else we wanted. We left with: 3 Tilapia steaks, a jar of salsa, a can of black beans, 2 bags of M&Ms, olive oil, banana chips, some zucchini and yellow squash and 6 fruit leathers. I ate four of the fruit leathers before I made it home lol. So we made it back to her house, cooked the fish, zucchini, yellow squash, couscous and wa la~ dinner. Lauren made this weird salsa-black bean topping for the fish and it wasn't that bad. I still don't like fish though~~ Next I want to retry sushi. I figure the vegetarian sushi is not for me since I don't like cucumber or avocado. And I also just found this new (new to me anyway) amazing Japanese band via |
5/16/09 12:59 amBooks 5-7~! ( Book #5:Naked by David Sedaris ) ( Book #6:Coraline by Neil Gaiman ) ( Book #7:Falling Leaves by Adeline Yen Mah ) Also I just put a multi-chaptered fanfic into Word to be able to see how long it actually is and it ended up being 554 pages. That's 554 pages of computer paper in 12 pt. font. a;sdjfas Does this count as a book? lol Cause I think this fic's good enough to be one. It was the only thing that kept me sane during final's week and I'd buy it in a heart beat. ;; |
4/29/09 03:35 pmI tried to write a journal entry in a real journal today (read: on paper). Didn't work out so well. I have a really hard time of expressing my self outside my head. Everything sounds fine until I start to write it down. Then it's just complete jiberish and nonsense. One things jumps to another and nothing turns out how I want it to. I suppose this is why I have such a hard time opening up to people. If i can't express my thoughts properly to myself who else would be able to understand them? And here I thought I was doing better with the whole understanding thing.
akdfja;sf I wish life worked the way you wanted. |
4/3/09 02:32 pm - SPAM ME CAPTAIN* So, while I'm spamming Jen's journal I thought it would be nice to spam my own~! aka POST ANYTHING YOU WANT HERE. I don't care what it is. I'm bored and I don't want to do my Italian composition. ;; Edit: Lol the new goal is to beat this post (omg Jen do you remember that?? ;; I miss high school.) La modifica numero due: You guys fail |
3/26/09 08:41 pmBooks 3-4~! I finished these a while back but didn't have time to post them.
( Book #3:The Rape of Nanking by Iris Chang ) ( Book #4: Pieces of You by Tablo ) LOL I need an Epik High icon. D: Currently half way through Naked and then it's Miles From Nowhere. ♥ |
3/20/09 01:04 amSo, with nothing to do at 1 in the morning I would like you to humor me. Open your itunes or whatever music player you use and order your songs into most played->least played. Pick the top (5,10,15, or 20) songs and discuss why they are the most played. ( My top 20 songs here. ) I feel out of touch with a lot of my friends musical tastes since going to college and I really have no idea what some of you listen to. lol at almost half of those being SJ songs Edit: you guys kind of suck. >( |
3/11/09 05:41 pm - EMPIRES AT JACK RABBITS!!!!!!SOME ONE NEEDS TO COME WITH ME TO A CONCERT ON THE 19TH Also, what is everyone doing for spring break? |
3/9/09 10:52 amI think I'm the only one in the fandom that doesn't like this song. XD I just really don't like the synths, which I think they really over use. But I will hold my judgement till the music video comes out mainly because I've hated songs before only to watch the music video and fall in love with them. That said OMFG Kyuhyun why don't you have more parts in this song. Fuck your voice is sexy. D: EDIT: OKAY I CAN NOW FULLY APPRECIATE THE SONG WITH THE SEX THAT IS HYUKJAE'S DANCING. Oh baby you move those hips so well. :Q And I knew Hyukjae didn't sing the part they had him labeled for. Sounded too much like Sungmin to me, but I did think Hangeng sang the second line. =/ Kyu is still ultra sexily evil though. Especially with that little finger thing he did with the last "HEY!". It's like he was saying "I'll show you what these can do >;D". lmao |
2/1/09 11:02 am( Book #1: The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman ) ( Book #2: Boys in City ) ( Book #3: The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson ) Next up are Pieces of You by Tablo and The Rape of Nanking by Iris Chang. Also the Black Orchid and 1602 graphic novels by Neil Gaiman. ♥ |
1/25/09 11:06 pmI absolutely lost it at 1:28. OMG Shindong and Eunhyuk I fucking love. you. two. ♥ ♥ |
1/23/09 11:43 pmSo~~ just got back from the circus~~! I'm on this weird trip where I want to do everything I did as a kid. Needless to say it's all less spectacular now, but I still enjoy it. :) I love clowns!~~ I want to be a clown. :( They seem to have so much fun and I love making people laugh even if I'm not that good at it. They were so funny and I enjoyed a lot of the other stuff the did (acrobatics, magic, animal taming etc). Continuing on with my childhood, I went to the library Tuesday and finally got the audio book I've been looking for for almost five years. :) I couldn't remember the name (only that it involved a werewolf and a key) so it took me a while to find it. It's so corny and I still love it. ♥ My brother also apparently has kidney stones again. :( He wanted my mom to go out to Tallahassee and take him to the hospital since all his friends were out getting wasted. D: D: And my mom told him to call an ambulance if he really needed to go. XD Way to go mom! Luckily one of his friends was able to take him and they had all his information from the last time he was there. Also~~! Natalie and Andrea~! I think I want to be included in the book thing you both do. 50 books in a year right? I've already finished (The Graveyard Book), am almost finished with another (The Girl With The Dragon Tatoo) and will definitely be reading another one in the near future (Pieces of You). So, what does and does not count as a book? Does the audio book count as a book? XD Just want to be sure. |
1/6/09 09:56 pmOkay, there's this one guy that comes into my Publix and he is a HARDCORE Christian. Don't have anything against it, but he tends to zero in on me cause I made the mistake of telling him I went to BK (when I actually went to BK). And tonight he came in and was doing his 'God Bless you's and all that jazz when he comes over to my register (for the second time) and tells me that I remind him of a "chaste virgin". -_-? I really didn't know how to respond to that so I just kept smiling and said ok. And then he told me all about how he was born again and if I wasn't a virgin that he wouldn't think any different of me and blah blah blah! al;kdjfl :( It made me kind of uncomfortable. While I am a virgin, I certainly don't think I'm 'chaste'. And I certainly don't want to discuss with a stranger old enough to be my grandfather. D: But other than that today was good. Physics and Chem seem like they are going to be bitches simply for the fact that we have to submit our homework online. :( I hate doing online homework, since most of it never works on my mac anyway. Ecology doesn't seem that bad right now, but just flipping through my lab book scares me. O_O So much math and calculations a;lskdfowejfdjfs;kdf Also, schedules again kthnx. ♥ |
1/5/09 03:04 pmI'm bored. ;; My four hour class only lasted half an hour today. Ecology seems like it's going to be a bitch, but the lab instructor was nice enough. :) He really wanted to run it home that, when on a field assignment, we were not to pick up any snakes (venomous or non). Because we're just going to go '=D A SNAKE!' and run and coodle it. Right.
So in lieu of boredom... GIF BATTLE PART TWO! Please? I don't care what you post as long as it's a gif (and it's not a gif involving porn). ♥ ♥ |
